Most of my posts are just light elaborations, though I do occasionally dip into deeper, more personal territory. Character study is the main focus: my own through others, others through my own, and sometimes going beyond those categories.
I especially like Korean film/TV. Outside of the mere enjoyment of immersing in another culture and the pleasurable-to-listen-to language, I like the emotionality of some shows, and the ethical questions, especially in the saeguks (historical).
I started to write something about the demographic for Korean dramas being quite young, but if you take time to read a few of my posts, you will see that there are many unappreciated gems weighty enough to appeal to a person (like me, and perhaps you?) who has been through many complex circumstances and relationships as well.

“The only way you can talk about this great tide in which you’re a participant is as Schopenhauer did: the universe is a dream dreamed by a single dreamer where all the dream characters dream too.

– Joseph Campbell
